| Recycle should be out for collection the night before your collection day. |
To Get Started: Call our office to get signed up. 616-669-2047
1. Purchase an 18 gallon storage bin from your favorite store.
2. Put all your plasctic - tin - glass in the bin together.
3. Put all your paper in a plastic/paper grocery bag. (All Paper Must Be Bagged.)
4. Set the paper on top of the full bin like a lid.
5. Set your bin behind your trash cart at the curb.
(So that the trash cart is between the recycle bin and the road)

Below is a list of the items we take for recycling every other week.

PAPER: Newspaper - Junk Mail - Food Boxes.
ALL paper must be in a plastic/paper grocery bag. If some paper is too big and
will not fit into a paper or plastic grocery bag please put it in the trash.
Set the bags on top of the other recycle items.

PLASTIC: Items stamped 1-7 on the bottom of container.
Rinse and flatten then place in the same bin as tin and glass.
METAL: Metal items that fit into the 18 gallon bin only. (No wire please)
Rinse and flatten then place in the same bin as plastic and glass.
GLASS: Food Containers Only. (no windows, light bulbs, vases etc.)
Rinse, then place in the same bin as metal and plastic.
